Houston Police Respond to Double Shooting in Humble, TX at a Travel Inn According to the Houston Police Department in a Twitter post made on May 10, 2022 at about 8 p.m. - “North Belt Officers were dispatched to a shooting at the 17600 Block of Eastex Fwy. Officers discovered two gunshot victims. It is unknown what led to this assault. The victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment”. Houston police responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 9400 block of E Avenue L around midnight on April 4, 2022. Investigation Opened after Officer-Involved Shooting on Mount Houston According to the Houston Police Department, an officer-involved shooting occurred in the 700 block of West Mount Houston. Witnesses say the shooting took place at the Ramos Tire Shop in the Hidden Valley Shopping Center. The suspect was taken to an area hospital. The official investigation, however, remains ongoing. In a press briefing, Executive Assistant Chief Satterwhite with the Houston Police Department said that the suspect was armed with two firearms and has been linked to organized crime. Police had come to remove him from the property as a trespasser. When the officers entered, the suspect lunged for a firearm that was located on a table when officers decided to open fire for their protection.

Houston Police shoot a man armed with a knife who was found by a stabbing victim at the Hanover - Autry Park According to Houston Police, officers responded to an assault call in the 800 block of Buffalo Park Drive. They found a man with a knife over the victim. The man "advanced on the officers who then discharged their weapons, striking him." Houston Police are investigating. Update: According to HPD Chief Troy Finner, at 3:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to an assault in progress. The suspect carjacked a construction worker that was watching over the construction site overnight. As the victim was leaving, the suspect ran over the construction worker and ended up crashing into the lobby. This is footage of a secondary crime scene at a Circle K gas station (2697 FM 1960, Houston, TX 77073) to where Deputy Darren Almendarez was shot and killed. Police have not elaborated on this scene. A silver Ford Edge was on a tow truck with a "Police Lives Matter" sticker on the back windshield while police investigated.

Police responded to call shortly after 8pm on March 28, 2022 to a person shot in the chest at the Fuel Depot located at 9525 W Montgomery Rd. Houston, TX 77088. Houston Police are investigating.
