The Houston Fire Department was dispatched just after 10:30 on July 26, 2022. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and put it out, but there appeared to be extensive damage inside the building. Alart Tool & Die is a machining company that was founded in 1972 and is a family-owned and operated company according to their website.

San Antonio firefighters save a dog during a 2-alarm fire that displaced 15 residents and damaged 18 units

Firefighters with the San Antonio Fire Department were dispatched at 10:50 p.m. on July 24 2022. According to a Battalion Chief on the scene, it was unclear exactly what started the fire. However, he stated that the fire started in a breezeway, and reached the attic of an apartment building inside the complex. The Chief also stated there were not any reported injuries to firefighters or residents at the complex. During the initial response, firefighters were able to kick in a door and save a dog that was stuck in one of the damaged apartment units. The dog was not reported to have suffered any injuries. Speeding driver flips vehicle and causes major fire at roofing supply company in NW Houston

A driver in NW Houston caused a major fire at a commercial roofing supply and distribution company after she was speeding down Mitchelldale St, just off of Antonie and US 290, and flipped her vehicle, causing it to catch on fire. The accident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on July 11, 2022. Within minutes, the fire spread from her vehicle to supplies that were being stored in the parking lot of Commercial Distribution Specialists and staged for deliveries in the morning. These products, mostly made out of styrofoam, caught on fire and the fire spread quickly throughout the lot. The driver we are told somehow walked away without any major injuries. Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at the Spring Creek Barbeque (Atascocita location) locate at 5613 Farm to Market 1960 Rd E, Humble, TX 77346.
