Bellaire Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Shooting Suspects

The Bellaire Police Department is requesting the public's assistance on January 29, 2024, in identifying suspects involved in case #24-0020. The incident took place on Friday, January 5th, 2024, around 10 pm, in the 4600 block of Verone Street. Two suspects arrived in a newer model, dark grey Cadillac. The driver stepped out and fired several rounds from a rifle into the complainant’s vehicle. A $5,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, charging, or arrest of the suspects. Suspect Arrested for Evading, DUI After Stopping in Front of Memorial Hermann

Tonnette Carter was apprehended on January 27, 2024, following a vehicle pursuit that ended in front of Memorial Hermann. The incident began when a deputy from Constable Mark Herman's Office attempted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Atascocita Road. Carter, the driver, did not comply, leading to a chase that concluded in the 14200 block of East Sam Houston North, in front Memorial Hermann. Carter showed several signs of intoxication. After Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, it was confirmed she was intoxicated. She was arrested and taken to the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. On Monday, June 19, 2023, at 12:09 AM, Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) District 1 Patrol deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident at 5050 FM 1960 W. Suite 112 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Carlos Arzuaga, a 58-year-old male, lying on the sidewalk in front of a nondescript illegal game room, with apparent gunshot wounds.
