Two 16-year-olds and 2 others are dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in Harris County

Four people, between the ages of 16 and 25 are dead after an argument broke out in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Harris County, TX according to a tweet sent out by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

“Last night, around 11:20 pm, @HCSOTexas units responded to an apt complex located at 2331 Bammelwood. Units found four persons with gunshot wounds; three were confirmed deceased on the scene and a fourth was transported to a hospital in critical condition. It appears an argument between two parties led to the shooting. Follow-up investigation is underway by Homicide and CSI.”.

Gonzalez confirmed in a later tweet that a fourth person was pronounced deceased after they arrived at the hospital.

Crime Scene Unit investigators were on the scene at Cypress Ridge Apartments (2331 Bammel Road Rd.) working all night in order to secure any evidence and document what evidence may have been left on the scene by the shooters as they piece together the puzzle.

The victim’s ages were released Sunday morning in another Tweet by Ed Gonzalez. The victim’s ages were 16, 16, 19, and 25 years of age. All were Hispanic according to Gonzalez.

At this time, police have not released any of the shooter’s or victims’ names. There shooting started in the apartment courtyard before moving to an apartment at the complex. There was a security camera inside the apartment facing the door, which will likely be used to help determine exactly what happened, as well as any potential suspect(s).
