February 27, 2023 – According to the Houston Police Department, Victor Jonatan Gallegos Betancourh, 26, has been charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 177th State District Court for shooting a 20-year-old woman at 8400 Scott Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Gallegos Betancourh was detained by officers after he returned to the scene, and further investigation determined he was responsible for the shooting. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted, and charges were filed against him.
