Three people were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds after an unprovoked shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on April 22, 2023, in the 2100 block Branford Hills Ln in the west Harris County subdivision of Westgreen Park. Police believe the suspect has mental health issues.
The suspect shot a neighbor three times without warning, prompting the victim’s brother to pull out his own gun and shoot the suspect twice. The brother was also shot at least twice during the altercation. Both brothers were taken by life flight to a hospital, and all three individuals are expected to survive, as they are in stable condition.
The suspect is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
