The dispute that originated inside a club spilled out into the parking lot, resulting in six people being shot. The victims’ ages range from the late twenties to early thirties.
One male victim, critically injured, underwent surgery, and his condition remains uncertain but hopeful. The other five victims are expected to recover as they are in stable condition.
During the incident, off-duty constables and deputies were present at the scene. They are now part of the ongoing investigation, providing statements along with the victims who were dispersed across several hospitals.
Investigators are examining surveillance footage from the location as they work to identify the culprits behind the shooting.
Chief Finner urged the public to make smart decisions, especially as summer approaches and nightlife increases, emphasizing that it makes no sense to resolve disputes with guns, particularly in crowded spaces.
