Northwest Harris County – A woman was critically injured after being struck by a car, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday, June 24th at the intersection of Barker Cypress and West Road.

The victim was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. A silver Toyota with significant windshield damage was found abandoned at the scene. However, investigators have not yet confirmed whether this vehicle was involved in the hit-and-run incident.
