HOUSTON, TX, July 15, 2023 — Houston Police Department (HPD) is investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at a house under construction at 7002 Sidney Street around 1:25 a.m. on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Ramiro Galvan Garza, 66, a construction worker.
According a report from HPD Homicide Division, officers were flagged down by a family member of Mr. Galvan Garza who directed them to the construction site. Mr. Galvan Garza was found inside the building suffering from gunshot wounds. His family had used his phone to locate him after he failed to return home.
As of now, no motive or suspect description is known for this crime.
