HOUSTON, TX, AUGUST 13, 2023 – A high-speed police chase that originated in northwest Harris County ended in a crash at 1600 Nance Street at approximately 5:10 a.m. The suspects’ vehicle reached speeds in excess of 120 mph, according to radio traffic.

The suspects apparently lost control of the vehicle after exiting an off-ramp too quickly, resulting in the crash. Police officers detained two individuals at the scene after a short foot chase.
Houston Fire Department was called to treat a person who was tasered during the incident. At this time, it remains unknown why the police chase was initiated.
