August 27, 2023 – Houston, TX – The Houston Fire Department’s Arson unit is investigating a fire that broke out at an Airbnb rental in the 1700 block of Winter St. around 5 a.m.
According to a press release from the Houston Fire Department:
– The American Red Cross was called in to assist the renters after the Airbnb property’s management could not be reached.
– The fire originated on the front porch and caused an estimated $25,000 in damage.
– A total of 32 HFD personnel responded to the incident.
– No injuries were reported.
– HFD Arson is still investigating the cause of the fire.
