HOUSTON, TX (Dec. 30, 2023) – According to police, at approximately 1:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Hussion Street in response to a violent altercation. The incident involved an exchange of gunshots between an individual and a security guard. The injured security guard received immediate medical attention and was taken to a local hospital for surgery. The suspect fled the scene, and their identity remains unknown. Houston Police are investigating and request that anyone with information contact their Major Assaults unit or Crimestoppers.
