HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A driver, suspected of being intoxicated, was arrested after crashing into a Precinct 4 Constable Deputy’s vehicle last night, shortly before 10:00 pm, according to Constable Mark Herman. Deputy Leon, from Constable Mark Herman’s Office, was assisting the Atascocita Fire Department with traffic control near Atascocita Road and Eagle Springs Parkway when the incident occurred.
The suspect, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication, was detained at the scene. Deputy Leon suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect is set to be booked into the Harris County Jail following his release from the hospital.
