MIDLAND COUNTY, TEXAS (FEBRUARY 1, 2024) The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department, together with the Midland, TX Fire Department and the Midland County Northeast Volunteer Fire Department, responded to an oilfield explosion. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. The fire was quickly brought under control. The swift and effective response of the fire departments was commended. Safety remains a top priority for all involved.
