THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS, February 2, 2024 – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Dr. Kozhaya Sokhon, following an extensive investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with multiple patients. The arrest occurred at the Adva Cardio Clinic in The Woodlands, Texas, where Dr. Sokhon was taken into custody on charges of Indecent Assault by a Health Care Provider.
This arrest is the culmination of a collaborative effort between the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, District 2 Criminal Investigation Division, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, aimed at addressing the complaints against Dr. Sokhon.
Given the serious nature of the allegations and the potential for additional victims, detectives are urging any former patients who may have experienced similar incidents while under Dr. Sokhon’s care to come forward.
