HARRIS COUNTY, TX – On Saturday, February 17th, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol units were dispatched to the 5 Oaks apartment complex located at 18203 Westfield Place, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man deceased inside his apartment, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was found by a friend who had come to check on him after losing contact in the preceding days.
The exact time of the offense has not been determined, and the identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin can be notified. Authorities are investigating the shooting, which is suspected to be drug-related.
