2 killed during shooting at 21-year-old’s birthday party in Jacinto City

JACINTO CITY, Texas — A shooting occurred early Saturday morning during a 21-year-old’s birthday party on Muscatine Street, resulting in at least two fatalities.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the incident happened around 1 a.m., with approximately 50 attendees, including a band, present. Following the shooting, Jacinto City police responded, and the two victims were transported to a hospital where they were pronounced deceased. The victims were described as one man in his early 20s and another in his late 20s.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and information regarding the shooter or shooters remains unknown. It is also not confirmed if the deceased were party guests.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, is assisting the Jacinto City Police Department with the investigation.
