HOUSTON, TX – A man is dead after a vehicle struck him on the North Freeway.
The accident occurred in the 5900 block of the North Freeway shortly before 1 a.m.
According to the Houston Police Department, multiple witnesses with dashcams stopped at the scene including the striking driver.
However, at this point, it is not known why the man was on the freeway in the first place, and police say it appears that he may have fallen. Investigators are working to determine exactly what happened.
