Two innocent bystanders shot after road rage incident spills into Gragg Park parking lot

HOUSTON, TX – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a park in southeast Houston.

The shooting took place around 9:15 p.m. at Gragg Park, located in the 3600 block of Telephone Road.

Witnesses reported that two trucks entered the park’s parking lot at a high rate of speed and were involved in a road rage incident. The trucks exchanged gunfire before leaving the scene.

Two innocent bystanders were struck during the crossfire—one was hit in the leg, and the other was shot in the torso. Both victims managed to drive home and later contacted police. They were transported to a local hospital where they remain in stable condition.

While investigating, officers were approached by another individual whose vehicle had been damaged by gunfire. No one inside that vehicle was injured.
