HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was killed early Saturday morning after falling from a moving vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northeast Harris County.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on September 21, 2024, at the The Rosemary Apartment complex located at 17401 West Lake Houston Parkway.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Isaia Capelo was standing on the running board of a white 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, holding onto the top of the vehicle while it was in motion. Capelo lost his grip, fell, and struck his head on the pavement.
The driver of the Silverado, immediately rendered aid and contacted 911. Atascocita EMS responded and pronounced Capelo deceased at the scene. The driver is cooperating with investigators.
