HOUSTON, TX – A fatal crash occurred late Saturday night involving a Dodge pickup truck and a Nissan Sentra in the 1400 block of Lockwood near San Jose Street.
The incident took place around 9:57 p.m. when witnesses observed the pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash. However, they did not see the actual collision.
The driver of the pickup truck, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a Nissan Sentra was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Update (9/23/24) – It is still to be determined who is at fault for the collision but the Houston Police Department have charged the driver with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated after it was determined that she was impaired at the time of the crash.
