HOUSTON, TX – A fatal shooting involving two family members occurred Saturday evening in Southeast Houston.
Houston Police responded to a call for a shooting at a residence in the 3000 block of Elpyco around 8:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found one adult male deceased inside the home. Preliminary information suggests a disturbance between two adult family members escalated, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
The other male involved fled the scene on foot but later contacted police and surrendered. He is currently in custody. Police have not yet recovered the firearm used in the incident, and the exact relationship between the two males remains unclear.
