HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old teenager at the Norma’s Plaza apartment complex located in the 7500 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
According to investigators, the teen and a friend were standing near the parking lot and a fenced in pool when an unknown male suspect walked through the parking lot and fired shots in the direction of the victim. The suspect, described as a Black male between 16 and 22 years old, then fled the scene wearing a dark hoodie with white shorts headed northbound. The Houston Fire Department responded and pronounced the teen deceased at the scene.
