HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating an accident t where a pedestrian was struck twice by vehicles on the Southwest Freeway frontage road.
The collision occurred around 8:05 p.m. on November 10 in the 6100 block of the SW Freeway. According to the driver of a red sedan, he was on the exit ramp when he struck a pedestrian who was reportedly running across the lane. The impact reportedly threw the pedestrian into a lane on the service road, where they were hit a second time by a white vehicle, possibly an SUV, which left the scene.
The driver of the red sedan is currently the only witness, and no video evidence is available. Road evidence is also limited due to resurfacing work on the road.
The Houston Police Department’s Hit and Run Division will continue to investigate, looking for video and additional information. Anyone who witnessed the crash is encouraged to contact the Houston Police Department.
