HOUSTON, TX – An 18-year-old male was killed early Sunday morning in a crash possibly linked to street racing in the 15300 block of Silver Green Drive.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the crash occurred when the male driver, with his 20-year-old sister as the front-seat passenger, lost control of his vehicle while possibly attempting to race another car. The vehicle struck a curb, overturned, and came to rest in the front yard of a residence.
The driver was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The passenger’s condition has not been disclosed. The two vehicles did not make contact, and the other vehicle involved fled the scene.
