HOUSTON, TX – A police pursuit ended in a crash at FM 1960 and Townsen Boulevard Friday evening, leaving multiple people injured.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. and was captured on surveillance video by Bahama Mama Humble.
According to Humble Police, the chase began in Splendora when officers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle. While the suspect’s vehicle was fleeing westbound on FM 1960, it ran a red light, and struck another vehicle at the intersection.
Two occupants of the suspect’s vehicle and the driver of the other car were severely injured and transported to a hospital. A dog found in the suspect’s vehicle was unharmed and was taken to a local shelter.
