HOUSTON, TX – A man in his late 60s was shot three times after responding to a domestic dispute in southeast Houston.
The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. in the 10900 block of Cullen. According to police, the incident stemmed from a heated argument between the suspect and his common-law wife, with whom he shares four children. Fearing the situation would escalate, the suspect’s mother-in-law called her husband, the victim, to the location. Upon his arrival, the suspect shot him in the stomach, arm, and leg.
Southeast officers and Houston Fire Department crews responded, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery and is believed to be in stable condition.
Police are actively looking for the suspect.
