Former Sears building at Deerbrook Mall to be transformed into $2 million entertainment complex

HUMBLE, TX – A major renovation project will repurpose a former Sears building at Deerbrook Mall into a large-scale entertainment venue.

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the project, called Score USA Deerbrook, will take place at 20131 Highway 59 North. Construction began June 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2026.

The $2 million renovation will overhaul the 147,022-square-foot building to create an entertainment complex. The project is privately funded and will be carried out on private property for private use.

Albany Studio of Houston is listed as the design firm, with Kathy S. Rodriguez serving as the registered accessibility specialist.
