FRISCO, TEXAS — A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder after a road-rage confrontation ended in a fatal shooting in the parking lot of Frisco High School on Thursday night, police said.

Frisco police responded at about 8:31 p.m. on October 9, 2025, to reports of gunfire at 6401 Parkwood Blvd. Officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds and began life-saving measures. The victim, identified by authorities as 34-year-old Robert Taylor of Plano, was taken to a nearby hospital by Frisco Fire Department EMS and later pronounced dead.
Police detained 45-year-old Jason Bartik of Celina at the scene. After an investigation by Frisco Police Department detectives, Bartik was formally charged with murder, officials said.
Police emphasized the incident did not involve any students and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active, and no additional information is being released at this time.
