HOUSTON, TX – A fatal crash involving two vehicles occurred around 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of Gessner and Centrepark Drive.

According to police, a white Ford Taurus traveling southbound on Gessner collided with a Honda Accord that was traveling northbound and attempting to turn onto Centrepark Drive. Witnesses described the vehicles striking each other, and investigators believe one or both vehicles were traveling at a high rate of speed. Both drivers are also being investigated for possible impairment.

The Honda Accord had two young adult females inside. The front passenger was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

The Ford Taurus had one male occupant.

No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
