HOUSTON — A man was killed in an alleged shooting at The Estates at Hollister apartment complex in northwest Houston.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to the complex at 7740 W. Little York Road and learned an adult man had allegedly been shot by a former roommate.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The alleged shooter was detained at the scene.

Crime Scene Investigators and Homicide Detectives responded to process the scene and continue the investigation.

No additional details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
