HOUSTON – One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting in northwest Harris County, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Sheriff Gonzalez said detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting in the 7700 block of West Little York Road.

Preliminary information indicates two men were inside a vehicle when they were shot. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown.

Both victims were transported for medical treatment. One man is reported to be in fair condition, while the second man was pronounced deceased.

The investigation remains ongoing.
