HOUSTON, TX – Multiple people were detained following a police pursuit that began near Interstate 10 and Lockwood Drive and ended when the suspect vehicle crashed on Turning Basin Drive near Interstate 610.

After the crash, at least one suspect fled on foot, leading officers on a foot chase.

During the foot pursuit, one officer injured his knee and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the officer’s injury has not been released.

Multiple individuals were detained in connection with the incident. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the suspects or what led to the pursuit.

The investigation remains ongoing.
