FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — A 5-year-old child who was the subject of an AMBER Alert has been found deceased, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Edward Hall’s body was located by Texas EquuSearch Search & Recovery at approximately 1:43 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2026, in a lake near his home. Authorities said his family has been notified.

Edward had been reported missing after he was last seen in the 3800 block of Ryans Rock Court in Katy, prompting the issuance of an AMBER Alert.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, no foul play is suspected at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing.
