HOUSTON, TX – A Mustang driver went around a roadblock set up by Harris County Sheriff deputies and drove into an active crash investigation scene earlier today on Kirby @ Beltway 8.

Deputies attempted to get him to stop, but the driver decided the better course of action was to evade them and decided to take off.

Fortunately, no deputies were injures.

The crash involved a semi-tractor and a passenger vehicle, and the roadway was shut down for several hours as officers investigated. One person was transported to the hospital from that crash and is expected to be okay.
