HOUSTON — A man was found deceased after officers responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex in north Houston earlier today.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers were dispatched at about 1:20 a.m. to the Oakwood Gardens apartments in the 5600 block of Antoine Drive after receiving reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found the man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim is believed to be in his 60s.

Investigators have not released any suspect information or suspect descriptions.
