HOUSTON, TX – Houston rapper Z-Ro joined Dr. Matthews to announce a challenge for Trae tha Truth to settle their longstanding dispute in a charity boxing match in February.

The proposed exhibition match follows a 2022 altercation in which Z-Ro said he was jumped by multiple people.

Dr. Matthews proposed giving both rappers six months to train before holding the fight at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land.

Z-Ro said he would donate his portion of the proceeds to help children with lupus, a disease he said caused his mother’s death.

Trae tha Truth has not publicly accepted the challenge.
