HOUSTON, Texas – A driver was killed after rear-ending a U.S. Postal Service truck just after 10 p.m. last night in front of Grace Church at 10001 W. Sam Houston Parkway N.
According to Harris County Precinct 5, the driver was suspected of driving while intoxicated when the vehicle struck the back of the USPS truck, causing it to roll over. The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Other occupants of the car suffered minor injuries. The USPS truck driver was also reported to have minor injuries.
The USPS truck did not appear to be pulling a trailer when the crash occurred.
