HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man was pronounced deceased after being shot in the 500 block of Gulf Bank Road.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. CPR was administered at the scene, but the man did not survive.

The unidentified suspect fled before deputies arrived. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are responding to the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
