HOUSTON – Two men were found deceased inside a residence in the 11600 block of Downey in north Houston after a neighbor reported a foul odor.

According to Detective Gerardo Herrera with the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division, officers forced entry into the residence and found the men inside. Both men were adults and reportedly lived there.

Herrera said the bodies showed signs of decomposition, and the cause of death is still under investigation.

The Houston Police Department’s homicide division, crime scene investigators, and the medical examiner are investigating the deaths.
