HOUSTON, TX — A person was taken to a hospital after the Houston Fire Department and the Houston Police Department responded to a shooting in a shopping center located at 9255 Gulf Freeway, around 4 a.m. this morning.

Authorities have not confirmed the person’s condition or the nature of the person’s injuries but officers were seen going inside El Botanero, an after-hours club.
