HOUSTON, Texas – One brother was found deceased and another was critically injured after an argument escalated into gunfire in the 16600 block of Parkridge Court early this morning.

Houston Police Department Southwest officers received a shooting-in-progress call around 1:27 a.m.
According to police, the brothers got into an argument, pulled out weapons and began shooting at each other. One brother shot the other in the head, arm, and leg.
The brother who shot him then ran about 100 yards from the shooting scene and shot himself in the head. Officers found him deceased. His identity and age have not been confirmed, but he appeared to be in his late 30s or early 40s.
The other brother, 40, was transported to a hospital by the Houston Fire Department and was in critical condition.
What the argument was about remained unknown.
