HOUSTON — An assault suspect was transported to a hospital in critical condition with CPR in progress following an incident outside Medfield Food Store, a convenience store at 12775 Medfield, around 8:30 p.m. yesterday evening, according to Houston police.

The circumstances have not been confirmed by police. However, according to a witness, the suspect tried to hit another man and was then punched himself.

HPD’s Major Assaults Division is investigating.
