HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot and killed following an argument outside Big Red’s Lounge located at 920 Lucky Street.
Houston Police Department patrol officers were initially alerted to the shooting by a call from a local hospital. During the initial investigation, officers learned the shooting had occurred outside the lounge.
According to police, the victim and suspect were engaged in a heated altercation when the suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim multiple times. It is unclear whether the confrontation began inside the establishment or how the individuals knew each other.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
