HOUSTON, TX – A man in his mid-20s was fatally shot after a confrontation inside a parking garage in Houston.
The shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 4400 block of South MacGregor Way. Officers with the South Central Division responded and found that Houston Fire Department personnel were already on scene attempting to resuscitate the victim.
The man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to police, the victim and suspect were involved in a physical altercation in the parking garage. The suspect then stepped back, pulled a firearm, and shot the victim several times.
Police do have one person detained at this time.
