HOUSTON, TX – A standoff involving an armed suspect prompted a SWAT response early Sunday morning in the 12900 block of Claygate in south Houston.
Houston Police were initially called around 1 a.m. regarding a possible suicidal individual reportedly armed. The suspect did not comply with officers’ verbal commands to exit the residence.
SWAT officers surrounded the home and were still on scene as of 6 a.m., continuing to issue verbal commands for the suspect to come out.
