HUMBLE, TX – A major renovation is underway at the Pappas Bar-B-Q location in northeast Harris County.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the restaurant at 19713 Interstate 59 is undergoing a $5 million renovation that began on June 30, 2025, with completion expected by June 30, 2026.
The project involves a total renovation of the existing 6,500-square-foot barbecue restaurant. The work is privately funded and is being carried out on private land for private use.
LA Architects of Houston is listed as the design firm for the project, with Brian Gary Stanton serving as the registered accessibility specialist.
