Two men stabbed at Bridges of Cypress Creek Apartment Homes

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Two men were critically injured after being stabbed inside the Bridges of Cypress Creek Apartment Homes in north Harris County Saturday evening.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded around 7:30 p.m. to a disturbance call at 17710 Red Oak Drive. Deputies quickly upgraded the call to an in-progress incident with life in danger after receiving reports that two men had been stabbed.

When deputies arrived, they located the suspect in the parking lot and safely detained him. One victim, who had approached deputies outside, told them his roommate was also injured inside the apartment. Deputies entered the unit and found a male unconscious in a pool of blood with multiple apparent stab wounds. They rendered aid until EMS arrived.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Preliminary information indicates the suspect and both victims lived together. Investigators said the victims had wanted the suspect evicted. The suspect reportedly left several days earlier but returned, leading to a verbal altercation that escalated into the stabbing.

Special Victims Division detectives responded to the scene to gather evidence, review video, and interview witnesses. The case will be referred to the district attorney’s office for possible charges once the investigation concludes.

If you have any information, you are urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
