HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 8500 block of Mallardcrest Drive after receiving a report of a dog possibly left unattended inside a residence.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a small black and white dog barking inside the garage with no visible food or water nearby. A lockbox was found on the front door, and attempts to contact the previous homeowner were unsuccessful.
Animal Control was contacted out of concern for the dog’s welfare to ensure its safety.
