HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred late Monday morning at the Oakmoor Apartments in south Houston.
The shooting was reported around 11:54 a.m. in the 11900 block of Oakmoor Parkway. According to investigators, a suspect banged on the victim’s apartment door, leading to a fight that spilled into the parking lot. During the altercation, shots were fired, and a man in his early 20s was struck and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Some social media outlets are reporting that the victim was Luhbird, an affiliate of Sauce Walka’s TSF. However, Houston Police have not confirmed this information.
Police said no weapon was recovered from the victim, and fewer than 10 shots were fired. A woman inside the apartment spoke with officers, but investigators have not released further details about her role. Detectives said one suspect is being sought at this time, though additional individuals could be identified as the investigation continues.
